  8. How many people here have used or are using a Seaclone?

i have the 100 model on my 85 gal. 75 lbs. lr, 3 to 4 inch dsb with corals and fish and i like it. i put a "real" needle valve on the air intake so i can fine tune it. i dump out 3/4 of a cup of muck every 2 days or so. like they say everyone has their opinion........

  11. Do I have a pest here? ID PLEASE

looks like aiptasia to me. if they get big, say 1" in diameter, they could catch small fish. a peppermint shrimp would do fine and shouldnt hurt any of your corals.
  12. a couple questions please.....

thanks for all the info. the only problem i see with having them, is, my zoos are not doing very well since the poplation has increased. i have caught a number of them hanging in and around my zoos at night. would they have an ill effect on these or not? other than that, they are fun to watch.
  13. Is New Tank Matured?

well first of all, do you have any live rock in the tank? the way it works is, there has to be a source of "ammonia" for the bacteria to start converting. example, fish food, fish waste or the initial dieoff of different animals on the liverock. your tank will eventually cycle no matter what...
  14. a couple questions please.....

i have to correct myself. these are amphipods for sure. i just need to know what fish etc. i can put in there to kinda keep the population under control. i estimate there are about 100 or so living in my tank.
