Did you pull carbon when you treated with algae x? I read the bottle and there web site, the link to the instructions is broken, and can't find anything about filter carbon.

All very true, I added in a skimmer today and I'll have the algae x tomorrow. Will keep you posted. Thanks again for the advice.

Wish it was that simple, it's on all the sides of the tank, coral, coral plugs. Seams to inhibit the sps growth and possible starting to smother some of them. Thought about Red Slime or dr. tim's products.

Thanks for the review, I just ordered on to get rid of the egg crate frags racks.

Not that it matters, but are the racks upside down? I figure they would be more stable with the magnets and lip on the under side or did you find they work well either way?
