  1. ID please...

    Husband has this little critter roaming about his tank. We believe we saw it eat a Regal Tang that was either already dead or perhaps ill. Can anyone ID this for us? We are thinking some sort of crab. Shannon
  2. Lenses for Digital SLRs

    Dave, I, too, have a D70 and I LOVE my 105mm Macro. I'm still learning the tricks of the D70, but I have posted a few pics I've taken with it and the 105mm. Nikkor glass is phenomenal, but I'm a Nikon kind of girl! Some of the pics are above on the hitchhiker photo thread. Good luck! Shannon
  3. Special Request:: HITCHHIKERS

    Aiptasia Affectionately referred to as Stan until we realized Stan was a bad thing. Again, Nikon D70, 105mm Nikkor Macro
  4. Horned butted thingie??

    Why yes, Matt, we did!
  5. Special Request:: HITCHHIKERS

    What I would assume is a feather duster. Hubby and I are all new at this. The red spots along the central spines are not visible with the naked eye (or at least not with mine!) There is still a little camera shake. Sorry. This is shot with a Nikon D70, 105mm Nikkor Macro.
  6. Horned butted thingie??

    I'm going to try for some clearer, more concise photos in the next few days. Depth of field/shutter speed has been giving me some pause!
  7. Horned butted thingie??

    We have NO idea what this little beast is! It seems to mow down algae and also is a rather rapid swimmer and drifts along the currents until attaching to the glass or the rock. Thanks!
  8. Confirmation please

    We are thinking Aiptasia. Especially since the peppermint shrimp did a real number on the bad boy. Thanks!
