I have a 29Gal bio cube and looking to upgrade the lighting I have been looking at two fixtures - EcoTech Radion XR30w G3 PRO - Hamilton Cebu Sun 175W 14k Metal Halide with T5 The tank is split between LPS and SPS and i'm running a chiller. Just trying to see what everyone's thoughts are.

Loose The issue started around the time i changed the bulb and at the same time i added the Tunze Automatic Top off Nano I moved the bulb up 12 inches above the tank to reduce the PAR level, but it didnt help

I just checked the salinity its 1.025 and im using a Marine Depot Refractometer When ever i do a water change the parameter always match the tank water as far as temp and salinity. I'm also using Red Sea salt which i've been using for a while.

I added the red goniopora I used two different test kits Red sea and Salifert the results were almost the same

I just replaced the bulb about 2 weeks ago. I went from an XM 20K to a Phoenix 14K I also was trying the red sea program but switch right back to the seachem reef fusion

The picture posted on reef central looks hairy where the stuff i have looks more like flat white/clear film. I used a brush to clean the rock and did a 15% water change (RO/DI new cartridges) but it looks like its coming back. Whats driving me crazy is that its only on one rock. Red Sea test...

how do you tell the difference

I attached a picture; its not a great picture cause It was a bit hard to get the shot. The rock has a whites ish fuzzy haze/look should i try to clean it with a bush
