DC Area Reef Stores suck. One is dirty, one has nothing, the other is expensive. It's boring to spend weekend driving around only to see bread and butter corals for 40 bucks.

I have 4 of them over my 375 gallons tank. The tank's dimension is 8 feet by 30 inches by 30 inches. The light spread is fine and I like it much better than the German ones as its reflective material is dimple aluminum. DImple aluminum diffuse and give better light spread without hot spots.

TEW, yeap from Roozen. I also heard that Tropical lagoon had one also and it's gone. I asked Larry from Roozen and he said it's possible but he doesnt think so. If it's dyed, you can see it in a month. On the other hand, many other suposingly rare items such as blue carpets have been popping up...

I bought one couple of days ago from a LFS. Dont know whether it's dyed or not but the color is really fantastic. Check out this thread and check the link for a pix of dyed sinularia. Mine looks exactly like that...
