I had kept a few corals that people said would not last, unfortunately the purple one that I had died within a week.

I had those very same blastos & they grew quickly on me. Very good growers, a welcomed suprize.

I wonder if there are any smaller fish, cleaner fish, that will pick off the ich off a larger fish. There must be something in the wild that feeds on the ich.

I also had a Yellow, Purple, Scopas, & Desjardin Tang. I did not realize how importan tangs were in keeping a clean reef system, until I downgraded & had to let the tangs go. My rule is always to keep tangs in larger systems after observing this.

Nice looking tank in no time. Do you think you will have to endure another tank cycle, or is this likely not to have a significant impact due to all the live rock & live water being used?
