Same here. I have purchased several items from them including a VHO retro kit, skimmer etc. No problems and good advice.

Yes. You can either set the meterliter to add a specific amount per day or use it with the float switch. It will let the water change close to an inch before adding. I don't use the switch because I don't have a sump and the fluctuation in the main tank would be more than I want.
