  1. PDF version of Advanced Aquarist?

I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of what TuxMagazine ( http://www.tuxmagazine.com/ ) and XRay-Magazine does for their issues ( http://www.xray-mag.com/ ). Much nicer to print out, etc. Tom
  2. PDF version of Advanced Aquarist?

Has any thought been given to having a PDF version of Advanced Aquarist? I know I'd like one if it were made available. What does everyone else think of it? If we drum up enough interest maybe it'll be implemented! Tom
  3. Palythoa's Out of Control

  5. Maxi-Jet "stream" mod

I'm interested as well in how this worked for folks. I've got a couple MJ's that I'd like to try this out on if it pans out. :) Tom
  6. Instant Ocean dissapointing find...

I've pretty much used IO since I started a couple years ago. I've tried TropicMarin but didn't see any significant difference with it compared to IO so I switched back. Granted I'm running a soft coral tank with macroalgaes and I've never really had an algae problem other than when I first...
  7. How to evaluate a protein skimmer

It's somewhat subjective. Personally I look at how much skimmate I have, how often I have to empty the collection cup, and how nasty it smells. Also another good indication is how your tank is doing. What kind of skimmer do you have and what size tank? Tom
  8. Solaris LightsLED over MH?

I just read the article and it was really interesting http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2006/8/review2 I'm definitely watching to see how this technology progresses! Tom
