I personally use marine rxp from Kent Marine products. We have a pretty good rate of success with this product.

The best salt in my opinion is Tropic Marin. We switched to it at our store and have had much better luck with our coral. Brighter colors and more polyp extension.

I have had good luck with CPR BAK PAK skimmer for reefs. It is easy to use and maintain.

I am curious to why everyone always says to remove filter floss or similair media because you will have to change it on a regular basis.
