It comes with a hanging cable kit that connects to the light. It also has the fitting that you could add a cable to hang it high. I cut the cable due to it being installed in my canopy.

I and many others have grown SPS with this light. I had it on my 75 gallon tank for about two years, grew everything under it. Some people supplement with T5?s. I did not and I got growth.
