...i use tap water as well.........no no3, po4 from the tap...........my po4 is 0.3...no3 =0.........and my coralline growth is pretty high..................however, i use pc's, not halides........i do feed fairly heavily......no kalking, just add supps......maybe the lights??.........how heavy...

......yes......i did use a level..... ...a very long one........i think the major contributing factor was the age of this tank...........easily over fifteen years old.........the frame isn't thick plastic like most tanks today......it was some crappy thin formica stuff.......... ......luckily...

yes, the tank was level........no styrofoam. ......actually, it had been filled w/water and sand for more than a month now......i just recently added some rock to officially start it up.....maybe 30#'s or so...........it was an old tank, though............ ..thanx, .jeremy K.

....whilst I was checking out my reef night life at about 1130 tonite, I heard a popping sound......at first I thought it was just the wood settling......this on a 60G tank I had just recently set up...........but the sound was just not right.....so, I looked under the tank to find a crack on...

i would stick with the more natural diet of a tang........macro........however, my yellow shines macro totally......it actually prefers meaty foods, such as crab, squid, shrimp (not artemia), etc.,......the only other thing it will eat is diatoms....

i recently purchased a sebae...no more than two weeks ago......wasn't totally white, but not much brown, either.......anyway, got it home and it attached to a rock half way up in fairly strong current......i think it would have rather liked the sand, except that the current is pretty strong on...
