    ...i use tap water as well.........no no3, po4 from the tap...........my po4 is 0.3...no3 =0.........and my coralline growth is pretty high..................however, i use pc's, not halides........i do feed fairly heavily......no kalking, just add supps......maybe the lights??.........how heavy...

    ......yes......i did use a level..... ...a very long one........i think the major contributing factor was the age of this tank...........easily over fifteen years old.........the frame isn't thick plastic like most tanks today......it was some crappy thin formica stuff.......... ......luckily...

    yes, the tank was level........no styrofoam. ......actually, it had been filled w/water and sand for more than a month now......i just recently added some rock to officially start it up.....maybe 30#'s or so...........it was an old tank, though............ ..thanx, .jeremy K.

    i would stick with the more natural diet of a tang........macro........however, my yellow shines macro totally......it actually prefers meaty foods, such as crab, squid, shrimp (not artemia), etc.,......the only other thing it will eat is diatoms....

    have used www.plumbingsupply.comfor pvc fitting, valves, flex pvc, vinyl.....shipping is inexpensive (this side of Miss.)......for bulkheads Aquatic Ecosystems.........they also have oscillators/pulsers ~$60..
