2 hours tonight too. Not this crap starting at 8, but we get 2 actual episodes from 9 - 10 and then 10 - 11. I read about some of it, it's supposed to be great especially the beginning of the 1st episode.

I believe it will. But the season premiere, or "event" as they called it should have been better. They bounced around way too much.

No it was a character from season 3. When Desmond has the flash backs to his earlier life.
From Wikipedia

"In the final scene, Ben visits Miss Hawking (Fionnula Flanagan), who tells him she has found the island and that Ben only has seventy hours to return with the Oceanic Six"

then from there

"While shopping for a ring for Penny, Desmond runs into the shopkeeper, Ms. Hawking (Fionnula Flanagan). Ms. Hawking takes Desmond on a walk and explains that although she knew a man would die, she did not help because the universe has a way of "course correcting", and he would die anyway."

Anyone remember this, I really thought nothing of her at the time. But she did seem insightful of his situation.

I believe they are making 6 seasons of lost. So this season, and then 2 more.

There is one more season after this - this is the 5th season. I love this show and I loved the premiere.

It got pretty confusing, especially for the premier, I had to keep pausing it to try and remember stuff, I hope it gets better.
