Please, if the Mets beat the Yankees without Jeter, Cano, A-rod Teixeira and Posada you mets fans would be going nuts. You wouldn't say "I don't care about the Mets beating the Yankees this year because the Yankees have so many injuries." You guys would be bragging up a storm.

The Yanks have lost to the sox 8 times......it's true, but they are only 3.5 games back and have 2 game lead in the wild card. I'm not worried. If Wang gets back to form, they are in great shape.
The mets are in decent shape too, cause the Phillies keep losing too. so they are only 2 or 2.5 games back. They have July and August to get a big lead in the east, cause we know they are going to falter down the stretch.

well its not our fault or that of the yankees that the mets hiarchy stinks. (thats saying it nicely lol). its not our fault that they passed on derek lowe to have the promising oliver perez. and there are the 3 guys that were hurt. wright is leading the league. if the mets management were smart- they would have planned for injuries and paid a little more into there product. the mets get a tax break off the luxary because of the cost of the stadium. santanas contract is paid for by the nakme - citifield. so they ran cheap and dont have a farm system. thats the upper managements fault. so dont go crying excuses cause if the role was reversed, you would be talking crap. hence the reason to bring up the sox who arent even in this convo. bring out the brooms and clean up that mess at citifield. it stinks over there. lol

What's up with Wright's power numbers? Only 4 homeruns this year? The field is not that big that he can't go yard but once every 75 at bats.
