Could use a Little Help / Donation

Hey everyone,

I would not normally do this but I know MR is normally good with this kinda thing I could use a few donations. Here's the Story

Last year My mother-n-law was diagnosed with dementia and had to be put in a nursing home, after going to visit her a few times i felt it was missing a nice tank for the residents & visitors. I spoke with the director of activities and the head nun [ felt like i was going to confession..lol ]

I am building them a custom Stand and canopy to hold a 65 gallon reef [ not reef ready ] I built the stand/canopy , got a 250 mh for lighting, 2 - koralia #3 for circulation,

in the mean time as most of you know i just had my new little guy, I just bought the tank and I'm a little straped to finish this project. if any can help out with some donations towards the tank it would be highly appreciated

a good canister to handle 65 gal

live rock / sand

hang on skimmer

John...I love the idea and it is VERY sweet of you to do this this, but wouldn't it be a whole lot easier if it were a FW tank? I could give you a TON of equipment for one of those.

I'm sure the residents would enjoy that almost just as much?

i guess you are right with the fresh water, but the idea of a beautiful saltwater reef in the lobby would be awesome!! you know what they say, once you go saltwater you don't go back... lol

Bueller I have a 300W ViaAqua i no longer need for my 65 its yours if you can use it-- its a glass one not titanium just so you know- just took it out of my 65 last night and switched to 2 150's in my sump

I have casscade 1500 canister I used that o my 300 gallon freshwater but the tank broke so it's yours if you want pm me

ok john here's the deal, I took a small tub of the small pieces of live rock and made a few calls, traded them to a friend for larger pieces and I have several larger pieces you can have. I'll give you a call for pickup.
