I have had a yellow leather for 5 years. Recently it decided it was time to make its move (well, maybe the nutrients changed). I have attached a picture that covers 1 sq foot. You can just make out the ruler on the left. How big can it get?
I saw clusters of these in Fiji that were 10 ft square... thats not to say it wasn't a mass of clones or even individuals, but they were so pressed together that I couldn't tell... I imagine they do hit a cap and start spreading out.
