Harlequin Tusk, and a very cute one at that :) I love how baby fish have these big buggy eyes.

Cool!

What happened to your other one? I forget.

Last one was just too big for my system. Had to sell him (and it hurt too--he was a 10" Australian). This guy is much more suited to the tank. :-D

He's been in for 4 or 5 days now, and is eating like a pig. Actually, when I added him to the tank after acclimation, I dumped in some food to keep the other fish busy, and he ate some of it immediately.

I got a little worried though, because the following day we got hit with an early-season heat wave and the tank temp went up to 84.5F. 8O You can see in one of the photos he has a split in one of his fins. That got infected and red when the temp went up. I popped the lids to the canopy for a couple days and clipped a fan blowing over the surface, and have since brought the temp back down to 76F. I noticed this morning before leaving for school that that infection section of fin had broken free, and he looks a lot happier now. :D :D

Blue teeth....nature is amazing.

I'm glad his little toofers are showing up on the photos. They're really too small to see in real life. :D
