Polleni Grouper- cephalopholis polleni

Hello All...

Does anyone here have a Polleni Grouper- cephalopholis polleni?

I'm looking for pics of this rare, beautiful fish as I hve been commissioned to sculpt & paint one. Im a member of the Columbia Marine Aquarist Club (CMAC) in Columbia ,SC.
Im particulary interested in over head, front & closeups of the scale patterns.
So, if your an owner or have pics, please respond to this thread and I'll send my email address.

It's Epholopholis polleni. Try searching here and at google.com with the species name. Here's a damn good pic of one:

Thanks... Im pleased to see this one as it show the underbelly and coloration exceptionally well! Especially the fins & face.

I did a google search and found several others, but with a top and a face-front shot I can be sure of the body dimensions. These would most likely come from an owner.

Unfortunately, this grouper is very rare and expensive, and thus few people have it. Nice fish though! That photo Matt showed was used in one of www.advancedaquarist.com's article (I believe the first of Terry Bartelme's five part Ich series.

How much do these usually run Len? Around $500 or so?
