not posted on here for a while!

Just to mention - I have a photography site up and running that people might find useful or interesting. There's quite a bit of reef related info on it actually.

Check it out at:

Here's a taster...

Cool pics. Are the photos all of stuff you own, or (given the quantity and variety!) have you also been taking pics of friends' tanks?

cheers! - no, I have been taking stock photos for a number of marine outlets near where I live for about a year now, so lots of its is from them. There's some quite unusual stuff actually - ambon scorpion, hellsfire anemone, some wrasses which I haven't been able to ID yet, some of the more unusual angels etc..... some of the shots are from public aquaria which I have been invited to. I only have a couple fo small tanks myself - detailed in the tank shots section.

8) thank you

I have a 420EX flash sitting on my desk at the moment - just waiting for to get an IR transmitter then I can start using it for my shots. Should see some improvements hopefully as at present I am constrained by light conditions in the various tanks... keep on checking the site as I'll be updating the information and images regularly.

thanks! 8) - Canon 350. I am still saving up for some flash equipment so all shots above (and on my website) are taken with available tank lighting - some of which was MH, some just fluorescents.

I did use the Canon on the mandarin shot - used the Sony for the boxing crab shot though... the Sony is getting a bit old now but I still love that camera. Maybe have a look at a Fuji S7000 too.
