Skimmer Meets Cucumber

One of the cukes made its way into the prefilter and stuck its head into the powerhead in my Remora skimmer. The cuke lost. :dead1:

What are the chances that now that the power head has been cleaned out it's still working? Should I get a new one?

Test in in a bucket, but it should be fine.

What do you mean test in a bucket?

I mean run it in a bucket full of freshwater for awhile... sometimes you just need to get the air out of it and it'll work fine again.

It wouldn't really break with a cucumber crawling in it, they are fairly soft and a power head spins really fast, it would just chop it up and go on. The blades should be fine you might just need to clean it up a little.
