changing sand

ok well i have my 10 gallon tan k and im starting not to like the look of my sand.
when i started i mixed aragonite sand with fine grain sand
and i just dont like how it looks like now.

i wa thinking of going to HD and getting a bag of sand and putting that in my tank.

question is how do i go about doing that. can i just move my corals and rocks to a container with the water, and empty out the tank of the old sand and replace it with the new. i want to do something that ont be harmful to my tank.

any opinions and suggestion is welcomed.

just in case my tank has been established for almost a year now.

NO!!
HD sand is silicate. You would have the Diatom bloom of the century.

Not only that, but disturbing the SB can cause unwanted side effects.

so even if i tak the live rock and the corals before touching the sand will still do some side effects and what about the tahitian moon black sand?
