I have a Coral Beauty Angelfish that I just put in a few days ago I just seen some white spots what can I treat this with I have a 30 gal with 30lb of live rock a clean up crew and a arrow head, sally light foot and three star fish

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, you can't do a hyposalinty treatment (bringing specific gravity from 1.025 down to 1.0089) because you have many inverts in the tank. There's not much you can treat in the main tank that isn't toxic to your inverts. You will need a hospital tank.

Fish usually come down with ich (the white spots) due to stress. If your temperature is swings dramatically from day to night (happens most often during the summer) or if the temp is elevated, this can induce outbreaks. I'd try to keep all things constant and stressful and hope that the fish recovers on its own. Mine occassional come down with mild ich but they go away on their own.

Whatever you do, don't stress your fish further without a good purpose such as treating it with medication or hyposalinity in another tank. Sorry I couldn't give you better news.

My temp swing is about 78 to 80 I think that is ok It may be being he is new thanks for your help I will keep a eye out
