overflow help

A partner is giving me a free 100 gall glass tank for my reef. It however does not have any built in tank overflows.

What suggestions do any of you have as far as hang on the back of tank overlfows??? Are CPR products any good. Seems somewhere I heard they are notorious for flooding homes.

Whats up with the flooding part. What do I need to look for in a good hang on overflow for my tank.

I like the hurricane filters overflows...

www.hurricanefilters.com . I have used them for years beofre buying reefready tanks and they are great. never had a malfunction with 'em....

Do you think I would be wiser just to forgo the free tank and get a reef ready tank???

You can order glass overflow panels and silicone them in, then drill you tank... an option.

I would look at drilling the tank and siliconing in an overflow. IMO a drilled tank is less likely to have problem with the water draining to the sump.
