Hi,
Sorry about the double post but I didnt think anyone was looking at it.
Anyway the other day I got my tank running with the sump with the rodi water to cheack for leaks and to see if my overflow worked. After a bit of tweaking everything worked and the temp is up to 25c .The next morning before I added the salt I noticed the water was cloudy, in the evening I added the salt and got the salinity up to 1.024 . Four days later and the water is still cloudy.Would you progress to the next step of adding 40 kilo of LR hoping that it would clear it up or would you sit it out and wait for it to clear?
I have searched and searched the old topics for an answer but the only info I can find is that it is supposed to be a harmless bacterial bloom. Is this true?
By the way ph 8.2 , ammonia 0 , nitrite 0 , nitrate 0 . total volume approx 320 litre.
