Picasso Trigger Fish

I am new to keeping fish, I have looked up on fish species & have decided to get 2x clown fish, 1x yellow tang, 1x regal tang and 1x cleaner shrimp. . In the tank there will also be live rock & a malu anemone; though I am not sure wether it is possible to keep a picasso trigger fish with them, please let me know as i have read / been told many different things about them; thanks.

Hello miss frizzy, and :welcome:

Picasso's are pretty mean fish and belong with other "predator" type fishes. I think a picasso might kill your other fish as none of them are very aggressive.

Also, tangs and anemones have somewhat special needs too.. - Doing LOTS of research before jumping in is always a good idea.

(And asking here before making equipment buys can save you lots of headaches and wasted $$ too!)

I would not put the Picasso Trigger with the other fish you have listed. Do some reasearch on the other fish and things you have listed to see what their needs are as far a feeding and tanks size.

I agree. What size tank do you have? Are you planning on having corals or just fish and the anemone?
