Plan to start with "easy/hardy" corals and anemones in the near future, any advice on supplements needed? I've read about iodine and others but am not sure if they are needed in a good tank. Right now just have FOWLR 34 gallon with good water quality.
Thanks

Most ppl will agree on 2 things.

1- Anemonies aren't classified as easy because of lighting and water quality demands. If you do decide to get one abou the only option you'll have is the BTA, assuming you have adequate lighting.

2 - Never add suppliments that you can't test lvls for. That being said MANY ppl (myself included) only dose 2-part additives like B-Ionic. It keeps your alk and ca lvls in check and balanced.

As far as easy corals go you have a lot of options. I would suggest starting with some zoanthids. Hammers and frogspawns are also pretty tough guys (careful not to break around the tops of them though). Although they can overtake a tank mushrooms are VERY easily maintained.

Hope all this helps!

Good luck!
