I was going to post this last night but didn't...wanted to make sure I wasn't hallucinating! :D

I've had a copepod bloom without any seeding whatsoever...?

The wife thought it was brine shrimp and I told her I used those eggs like a month ago and they would go to the light anyways. They wouldn't hide in the rock and only come out at night.

I broke down and reconfigured my tank the first week of May. I got rid of crushed shells as substrate and used 35 lbs of sand in addition to already established 50# of live rock.

I bought store LS(Petsmart) with no visible critters.

I'm amazed by the fact that now I have pods hiding in the rock.

We are all crazy aren't we!
