Now that I've been at this a little while, I am planning to set up some of my older, unoccupied aquariums as FOWLRs. Specifically, I have a 60 g, a 55 g, and 3 45 gal bowfronts that are sitting empty.

I have been very pleased with the Freedom Filter (not a filter but a skimmer) that I have been using on my 95 g, but I don't want to have to cut the tops of the other tanks to accomodate another intank unit.

So . . . I want recommendations for a super H.O.T. skimmer for an aquarium in the 45 - 60 gal range. Cost is not issue -- tell me what you would get and what you would avoid. I don't plan to attach a sump to any new set up and my interest is in small fish (gobies, dartfish, dwarf angels, anthias, fairy/flasher wrasses).

Thanks,
Candy

if cost isnt an object the choice is the Deltec hands down...

BUT if you value the $$.. the the choice usually comes up as being the AquaC Remora. Good skimmer. I had one for a few years, sold it to someone here, and now they are happy too!

IMO stay clear of SEACLONE or PRISM
