I have a 135 gallon tank a few months old with 2 clowns in it so far. I am working up to clams eventually and I love mandarins but my tank is too new to consider them yet. However, I don't want to add anything that heavily depends on copepods also. I of course don't want a fish that will be likely to nip clam mantles either. Sources seem to vary on if the red spotted blenny(istiblennius chrysospolis) is herbivore only or not and how safe it is for clams. I think they are adorable but I don't want to create future problems. Any ideas? Also if they would be a good choice where do they fall in stocking a peaceful reef. I am planning on pajama cardnals and a school of chromis.

lucy1971,

:welcome:

I don't have any first hand advice, but wanted to welcome you anyway. Hopefully someone else will chime in with firsthand stuff.
