I Have the Remora Pro W/Bubble Trap That Does nothing for stoping bubbles Plus Its So Big It takes up alot of space.

I took off the bubble trap and left it the way i always had it and only run it at night so i would not have a problem during the day.

What can i put inside the remora to stop the bubbles i hang a bag of carbon in my remora but that dont help either.

(Sump Is not an Option for me )

It needs to break in how long have you had it? Take that bubble trap off raise the collection cup to the highest possible point and keep that thing going 24/7.

I used to have a HOB Remora that never stopped releasing bubbles. You can contact the company through their web-site and they will answer. I had a long discussion with someone there via e-mail about ways to eliminate bubbles. You can try putting a sponge in there; just make sure water doesn't get backed up and overflow. There are other things you can try, but contact them.

The best way to stop the bubbles is to get a whisper filter sponge and cut a slit in it. Then take it and put it around the spout, where the water returns to the tank. This will stop most of the bubbles from entering the tank.

You also need to keep the skimmer running all the time as every time you turn it back on it will start with bubbles again for a little while.

This helps..I have the remora pro running on my 30... What I did was on the vinyl tubbing that connects the pump to the injet I drilled a small hole into the tube. The purpose was to lessen the flow just a bit so it can lower the force of the water that creates the bubbles but at the same time not losing the skimmer bubbles capability. O -- the size of the whole is just a bit bigger than that "O" or about the same size.
