OK, My 30th bday is comin up in Sept. and my fiance wants to buy me a sump system to replace the crappy fluval I have in my FOWLR. The Fluval is about to break (its like 4 years old and makes noises and is scary) and I need to be prepared if this thing does break completely and need advice on what I should get.

Right now I have a 75 gallon tank with stand and a Coralife Super skimmer 125 (does not fit under the tank in the stand) A UV will also be setup with the sump as well.

I really dont want to have to make it myself cause its a present for me lol. So all that I really want to do, is install it and reap the rewards.

What do you guys think is the best way for me to go? Keep in mind I cant be asking for a super expensive system as a gift lol. (I dont even care if anyone has a used one that works and wants to sell it.)

I just need to know a good setup that ppl know works, that I can have bought for me, that isnt crazy expensive, and too extensive/involved on the setup. (I dont mind instlling pvc and stuf like that, I just dont wanna have to make the actual sump with sealant and stuff) Thanks!

on my 90 gallon tank I use a 20 long. It leaves some room for me to store things and it allows me to keep a 5 gallon tank next to it of RO/DI water for my auto-top-off. The problem with AGA stands, if that's what you have is that you can't fit a 15 gallon tank or 20 gallon tank through the doors. It has to go in from the top, where the tank is sitting! You would likely have to move your tank off the stand in order to get a sump under it. If your stand is not the AGA pine, disregard my post.

My stand is made out of crappy particle board material and has the front door. It also has a cut out in the back (that is conveniently agaisnt the wall) I am guessing that when I make the switch I will have to do some serious transfering and moving, so that prob wont be an issue.
