just wondering i am not planning on using.why cant u use halogen lights for a reef setup.not going to use i just wanted to know the reason .

AS far as i know halogen lights dont nearly have the color temperature ud need. i think they are @3500k. i dont think a reef would do well under 6500-10,000k
