The tank size is 105 gal with 2 1inch bulk heads in the back of the tank. I was planning on running one bulk head into a 25 gal tank with three sections for a refugium. The third section will have a 1 1/2 inch bulk head that will run into my main 20 gal sump that will hold my skimmer + return pump and that will be where the other bulk head feeds into. For the return i have a mag 1200 that will go up and split into a T so i can have it come out both sides of the tank.
Any suggestions on doing the set up this way. I would do one large sump/refugium but the center legs are in the way but my small 15-20 gal sump fits fine.

That looks like it would work fine. A lot of people don't like fuges on here also so if you did it this way you could remove the fuge with no issues if you decided against it. Is this your first tank? Do it as simply as you can at first, you can always upgrade and spend more money later. Hope this helps :splitspin

Yes this my first reef tank, i have always done fresh before.
Yes i am going up and over for the returns and using the bulk head for the overflow.
If i have a 1 inch line coming off one of the over flows into the fugium, can i use a 1 inch bulk head for the line out of the fug?? Or go bigger with a 1.5 inch line out?

1" should be fine because your drain going in is 1" also. The water going into the fuge might have a slightly faster velocity then the outgoing water but your probably going to use a valve on it. You could do the bigger 1.5 just in case or just in case something gets stuck in the piping. An overflow box might also be preferential for the drain going out the fuge.

I would put a wye on the overflow going to the fuge and put a ball valve on the part that enters the fuge. The other part of the wye you can direct to your sump. This way you can control the flow of the overflow into the fuge without worrying that you're input and output piping is the same size.

My sump setup!

This is the Fuge wet/dry sump set up I just built but have not tryed yet but I think that it will work just fine. The fuge is on the left and wet/dry on the right. I have the overflow from the Fuge running in to the bubble trap becouse my skimmer is going in the center chamber of the sump and I don't want the pods and stuff that I want to get to the main tank to be skimmed out. I have valves to control the flow in all directions and an over pressure valve on the return to the main tank to adjust the flow from my MagDrive 9 that I have not gotten yet. I have been reading alot about these things and think that this is the best setup for the tank that I got. The tank is a 75gal all glass with megflow over flow that goes threw the bottom of the tank. The sump is made from a 20gal glass tank and the fuge is made from pelxy glass and can hold 12gal. I hope these pictures help you in some way. Good luck!

More pics

Please don't mind the Maxim Mags under the fuge. They will be replace by a base to hold the fuge.
