Hey guys I hope everything is good.

Well I noticed a few active coco worms, I also put in a small power head to move the water in all my dead spots just for now I plan on setting up at least two med size head to move the water just before I buy my Coral. I checked my water and here are my readings as of 3/28/08.

73 degrees
Ammonia - 0.50
Nitrate - 20
Nitrite - .5
Alkalinity - 300
PH - 7.8

I need to buy a better test kit that covers all I need to know about my water, If yu know of any please let me know. I also wanted to know if I could put mini bio balls in my Aqua clear,if no why, is there something I can put in my filter that can help my Aqua Clear work better.:bagfish:

You guys are "The Best" THANKS
DS

coco worms? You mean bristleworms?

No sump? You need a heater in there, 73 degrees is a little on the cool side.
Aqua Clear power filter? A HOB skimmer would be a better idea.
You will need multiple test kits, there are none that do it all. Salifert, Elso, Lamottes are all good. Calcium, Magnesium, Alkalinity.

Good idea on adding additional power heads, be sure to have one breaking up the surface of the water :)
