Bio Wheel Filtration

well you guys i installed a clip on fan on my tank to lower my temp.

but iam limited in surface area to clip it on and were it is curently placed it is makeing my bio wheel spin faster !!!!

? is this bad if my bio wheel spins a bit faster then usuall??????:iamwithst:shhh::shhh:

Agreed. You also will have more evaporation at a faster rate with the fan blowing on the water.

Throw the biowheel out. Problem solved... :splitspin The increased evaporation is not a bad thing.....

Heat was the issue in the first place that's why he put the fan on...

Ah yes but the question was is it bad for his bio wheel....The fan is great the biowheel not so great. In terms of spinning faster.....im no expert but if it is a minimal increase in spead i wouldnt worry... if the biowheel is flying around then this is probably not a good situation.....:splitspin

Yep I agree... If it's spinning to fast it will have more water contact and less air making it almost not worth it...
