My system has been running for about 6 months now. I have a 90 gallon system with a light bioload of fish and plenty of LR and some Macros to aid in nitrate removal. After battling with some hair algae, and finally being able to look at a clean tank, I feel like my system is now ready for the addition of corals.

I am running a 260watt PC fixture and have just changed the bulbs in anticipation of the frag swap. I have over the past month or so been slowly increasing my calcium levels, and it is now at 430. I am also this week going to begin to add trace elements.

My first question, is to see if there is anything else I should be doing to prepare my system for the addition of corals, and is there anything that I am doing that I should not.

My second question is to see what corals would be recommended for a 90 galon system with 260watts of PC light. Im was hoping to ask these questions to people at the swap, but would like to get some time to research peoples recommendations beforehand. thanks - James

hey thanks for the response. I knew about the SPS not being a good fit, and I am just looking to see if people have suggestions on what types of softies/LPS might do well under this type of lighting.
