Salt mix Question

Currently I'm using regular IO salt mix and need to place an order for more salt and was wondering would it be better to get IO reef crystals instead of just IO? The calcium level of regular IO is around 320-340 and know it has to be higher, what is your opinion?

You can either dose or go with the Reef Crystals.

It depends on what you are keeping in your tank and how you supplement calcium.
For example Sps need more calcium and also if you have a calcium reactor. I had a tank with sps and only purchased reef crystals for my tank and added supplements ocasionally. Some people buy rc and supplement regularly. Some people buy IO and do full supplementation.
But reef crystals is In My Opinion is a better bang for the buck with all the added elements.

I also would go with the Red Sea Coral Pro Salt, it is actually the best IMO>

I use Coralife Salt. Inexpensive and does the job. Just remember whenever switching salts to gradually change them.

I planned on adding it when I do my PWC's which is about 25% every 2 weeks.

I meant use 1/4 of the new salt with 3/4 of your old salt on 1st water change, 1/2 new 1/2 old on second water change, 3/4 new.....and so on..In a month you can phase out the old and in with the new
