Sad to see this little guy go he is so cool to watch. I bought the Harlequin about a month ago b/c i had tons of Asterias stars. Now the star population has dwindled and i dont want to have to buy it starfish to eat.

So anybody with a Asterias star problem? this little guy takes care of biz.

You're the first person I've ever heard say that. I have one (and3 others) and have never witnessed what you are saying. This is even despite searching for food constantly after a while with no star in tank.

I wish my experience was similar to yours. I remember feeling bad for my red serpent, seeing her legs getting munched on. You're right that eating serpent stars is less likely than others (maybe because they have skinnier bodies and are quicker) but it's always a risk.
