I have a 32 gal im rebuilding. I need. Better clean up crew i have several hermits and snails. But its not enough. Any suggestions? Do i just load it with snails n hermits? Or is there something else i can do? I have tons of bristle worms. A clown fish and 3 damsels in the tank currently.

Well most cleanup crews consist of snails/hermits and etc.. If you were to go online they sell clean up crews for certain amount of gallons which include different types of snails, blue legged hermits, red legged and etc. I did that for my 28g nano and they do an amazing job. My 57 I pretty much just purchased snails individually as well as hermits that also works. As far as fish go it depends how long the tank has been up and running and etc.. I would advise that you get rid of the damsels because they not only take up space but they become very aggressive and territorial and can cause problems in your tank.

The damsels are very small and will remain only about 1-2 inches so i dont see them being too much of a noosense. Im more worries about my bristle worm population i want to cut it down a bit cuz it looks skumy to me. Plus ive suked alot
Of substrate off the bottom and soon i will have to put more crushed coral it just looks unclean at the bottom and it bothers me. I had all kinds of snail from astreas, turbos, nostrias n more and several varieties of hermits. Just never seems enough

IMO, its good practice to stay away from crabs of any kind. Except maybe for emerald crabs or anemone crabs. I've got some giant red leg and blue leg hermit crabs in my tank and I know they are responsible for decimating my snail population. Every night I see them killing a snail.
With that said, it all depends on your needs. If you have GHA, I would recommend Mexican Turbo snails. If your concern is left over scraps from feeding, then nassaurius snails are a must. They do well to aerate the substrate and can sense food incredibly well.

Hermits are known for tearing apart the smells snails usually. Haven't seen them bother my bigger ones as of yet. They do a good job though. I believe you can never have enough cleanup crew to be honest I'm always adding snails and etc just for that reason. As far as the damsels yes I know that but you'll see they will get territorial and aggressive towards fish you want to put in. It's better to get rid of them before adding anything else for that reason. But it's your tank, so your call on what you want to do. Gl

Yea, i have a clown in there now with them and they do just fine i want to get a six line wrasse or a melenuras wrasse and a royal gramma pretty much it as far as fish goes.

Defineately get a wrasse and yeah clowns get along with anything lol. I have a melanarus and he's awesome
