Whoever takes this MUST have a QT/hospital tank. This fish needs to be treated.
I have a powder brown tang that has ich. He needs immediate treatment. I will not be able to treat him. He was still eating as of 2 days ago, then he stopped. He is aprox. 4-5".
He is a beautiful fish, like I said, I wont be able to treat him. I really want him to go to someone that has the resources to nurse him back to health, if it's not too late. Hes been with me for over a year now, with no problems til now. I made a poor decision, and don't want the fish to die.

I would take if you wasnt so far. Time is of the essence and it may be a few days before you find a taker...

The least you can do is isolate him and slowly drip same temp dichlorinated tap water until salinty drops to 1.009. Then keep it there until you find someone. Ich will start to die almost instantly.

Explain to taker that the salinity is very low so they know to raise slowly. This can be done in any bucket.

He's been fine with my Atlantic Blue. I wouldn't put him in with any other fish though. Not with ich. Wouldn't want you to lose the other.

My QT tank is too small for this fish. It may stress him further, and finish the job on him.

He will go through the same treatment as my Achilles thats going in my display and the same treatment of the Powder blue thats in my frag tank. Both of those tangs I rescued, they were sick when they were brought home.

He will be in a 40breeder QT. His actual treatment will not begin until my trigger pair come and I can QT all three in one shot.
