Got this to prevent heater from getting stuck on ON position(happened two weeks ago).
My wife heard me complain about it and surprised me with an APEX controller after I had gotten this. It has a plug for the heater and a temperature probe with a 6' cord so one can place it away from the heater,thus getting a more accurate reading. Unit has an accuracy of -+0.5F. This would work for someone who wants to control temperature without spending the extra $$ (my case but my wife got it anyways :banghead
