The Cadlights is a great skimmer but this has the same footprint and is a much stronger skimmer. Also has a larger collection cup then the Cadlights with a drain plug on it so you don't have to take the cup off every day (sometimes twice) to empty it. Like I said I loved my Cadlights when I had it but the coral box performs even better

Ah man now I may want to try it out...yeah the cadlight is a great skimmer only thing I find annoying is removing the cup...everytime I remove it I have to readjust the skimmer

Lol that was one of the reason I switched, both are very sensitive skimmers but since you have to remove the cup much less on the coral box your adjusting much less. I had mine draining into a empty plastic 1g water jug and only removed the cup once a week to clean the skimmer neck.

This is a great skimmer I have one on my 20g AIO. Also Lenny is a stand up guy so wanna bump ya up brother.
