How long ago did you add the other anemone to the tank.... I know you said it was happy until you put the other anemone in, but from the looks of it, this anemone has been in poor health for quite some time.

Also can you give us some info on your tank and set up... What size tank, light setup, age of tank, other inhabitants in tank, tank maintenance schedule? Some more information will help us try to figure out what may have caused this. Chances are it wasn't just adding another anemone.

Way to soon to add anemones. You should wait somewhere close to a year before adding nems. They need good water quality and established tank. What are your water params?

Is it this little 5 gallon tank im finding when I google it. If its the stock lights, it has 17 individual leds drawing just 10watts of electric. That is definitely not sufficient for the requirements of an anemone.

I would try selling the other anemone you purchased because that one will look like this one soon.

In the future with this system I would stick to low light requirement corals such as mushrooms and other soft corals. GSP would probably do well in there too.

hey let me weight in my 2 cents since im going through the same thing.

My tank is now 5 months old, my previous build was a 40g i had and i took all the LR, LS and added a few extra pounds to the new 75g tank i would say in about 2-3 months everything seemed establish and stable so i started adding corals, the fish were in there after 3weeks of the new tank set up about a month later i started adding a few frags which are doing great...i added 2 BTAs one greenish one dark red around the end of the 3rd month...

the green one over night after being in my tank for a week looked bleached and lost all of it tentacles it almost looked like it was chewed up by my power head but it was still in the same rock so that was a mystery to me, while the Red BTA found a really nice spot and was doing great the next day the green one(now bleached and destroyed) disappeared i thought for sure it was a goner, 2 weeks later it appeared on the highest part of my LR and since it was attached i decided to let it do its thang... my water chemistry is still on point besides it being to clean which im adding Amino acid and feeding heavy...i will tell you its been about 5-6 weeks and its growing its tentacles and the tips over the past 2 weeks got their green hue and i see them under my blue lights now and slowly but steady i see the nem recovering, btw its sat on the rock where my return hits so its getting HIT!! with flow but its been there for about 5 weeks. also it started taking food but really small pieces.

if you could put it somewhere safe from hassle from others in your tank as long as its attached to a rock of ITS!choosing let it settle, in my opinion dont give up on it and keep us posted.

also your PH seems a bit low aim for 8+
