
For example I was hung up on not wanting green because I have a ton of green already however green tenuis is a little cheaper then the really cool looking ones and you're probably going to kill a few Frags before you get things dial inCheck out advanced marine aquatics in Roslyn.. they have an awesome selection of SPS and a bunch of frags for $10 or 20$ bucks. If you go there and tell them you want some tests Frags to start doing SPS they'll pick you out a couple of different types and help you figure out what to do. That's what I've been doing and it's been working so far they've been really helpful and their SPS display tank is off the hook. I don't know how much experience you have with hard corals but if I was you I wouldn't worry so much about the "name" of the coral starting out with just make note of what species they are and keep track of how they're doing in your tank this way when you get things dialed in you can go for that really awesome piece of the same species
