I purchased a*Hydra Twentysix HD LED (Black)*and*HMS Single Light Mount Kit*at Reef-A-Palooza NY directly from AI.
I planned to set up a 24" x 20" x 20" cube but am now deciding to go with a 36" tank. I'm considering using 2 AI Prime HDs rather than 1 AI Hydra 26 HD to save some money.
The boxes are opened, BUT I consider both items "new". I never assembled the mount. As for the light, I was curious about the app, and having never had a reef tank before, I got excited and turned on the light. I downloaded a preset just to play with it and then put the light back in the box. The light has not been on for more than 5 minutes. However, I did register my light with AI on June 24, 2018, meaning the warranty period started then. Yet, on the other hand, I suppose this is proof that the light is "new" since the subject of the email was about how I can put the light under warranty after paying cash at the event.
Both pieces go for $425 online. I'd like to sell both for $375.
