FS Crowned Pearlyscale Butterflyfish

I have one Crowned Pearlyscale Butterflyfish for sale, he's about 3-4", I've had him for about 3 months on my reef tank.

He has been reef safe up to last week.

He's now living on my sump because all of a sudden he decided to start nipping on my corals, so its for a fish only tank in my opinion.

I'm asking $20.00. I'm in Mineola, NY 11501, i work in the city East 69th street so i can bring him to work if you want to pick up in the city.

What type of corals do you have? What was he picking on?? Just wondering don't want to purchase, though this is a beautiful fish and price...

He's picking on Favia, an open brain and a candy cane. I also have several different types of Zoas, Leather, Mushrooms and Frogspawn although he has no interest in them.

just took some pictures of him, he now has a white spot on the tip of his tail, i really can't tell what it is maybe someone can suggest what might be.

Lymphocystis is a viral disease, a bit like the common cold in humans. This disease has no known cure, but is rarely fatal if the fish is kept in a stable environment and given a good, varied diet.

Thank you for the info.

I read up a bit on this disease, it seems the best recourse is just to quarantine this fish until the spot goes away, and give him a stress free life.

If anyone is still interested in him I've lowered the price.
