For trade: 3x Maxijet 900s

He's talking about the maxijet mod. It's basically an impeller that turns MJs into 1600gph Koralia-like pumps.

you can get magnets for you maxijets aswell....infact I have.

I going to be running MJ 1200 with the mods and mags which push 2100 gph so they say.

wow that's not bad at all - I've just been researching these mods though, and they don't really turn out cheaper than koralia 4s once you buy the maxijet, mod and then the magnet. Plus apparently they're noisy

well the #4 only pushes 1200 gph. plus they are pretty good size.

If u have the maxis already the mods are only 14.95 each.

I had max-jet for years and just recently switched to koralias, i have 2 #4 and 2 #2. I am much happier with the koralias,they are a little noisey on start up but the flow better in my opinion,beacuse of the wider width.I have them on a wave maker and they switch every half hour(hence the noise). I like the fact that they are easier to aim in the tank also, as they rotate in any direction. JMO and 2 cents

I have two of the eco mods on my MJ 1200's and there awsome I love them. and they are not loud.

oh cool.... so with my other koralia 2 and moded maxijet there'll be 1800gph of flow in a 55g. Too much?

well im getting ready to run 4-1200 with mods 2100 gph each

total 8400 gph
2-#2 1200 gph
mag 9.5- 950 gph

In a 125 so i dont think so. I have to wait and see if i have to much. Just have to position them correct and should be ok.

I had them in my 125 first and two was plenty with the return. If you did an SPS dominate then four would be awsome.
