the optical zoom is the actual physical lens on the camera doing the zoom. the digital part... is just like cropping the center of the image in photoshop, and re-sizing it (interpolating details that the lens isn't really seeing, its the computer's best guess) I'm not familiar with that model...

20mm lens, taken approx 20-25 feet back into a cave, looking out.. the green is a layer of algae 4' thick on the surface, in it, vis is 6", below it, about 100' the distortions around the diver... are clouds in the sky along the top of the frame... leaves on trees overhaning the cenote taken...

been in mexico (Akumal) for the last 11 days.... cave diving, with any luck a few of the pictures will come out (should be done developing, in about 2 hours... yes, actual FILM :) )
