hello everyone. i am in the hunt for a serious run at some lights in June. I am learning as much as i can about different set ups so i thought i would ask the professionals here at MR about proper lighting for what i plan to do. I have a 215 for those who dont know and plan to go sps. the tank is 29" deep. That means a 250watt bulb minimum. over the weeks i have read about different light set ups.
for expample - metal hallide HQI's vs single ended bulbs and double sided bulbs. t-5's vs- VHO's actinic vs. 50/50.
Now with this in mind and forgetting cost as a factor here, what is recommended by everyone and what does everyone favor. also coral life now has a metal hallide 72" fixture. any reviews on them>? they are hqi's
