Maybe I'm on drugs but it seems like bleached tissue doesn't regain its color. I have a bunch of WHITE Acros that didn't start that way. They all have great polyp extension and the new growth reflects their original colors. The old growth however remains white. Is this normal?
PH 8.3
Alk 11dkh
Calcium 400
Mg 1500
Amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
phosphate - probably some, running phosban
I change my carbon every two weeks, 5% water change every week, 3 T5 bulbs overdriven with an icecap 660, individual icecap reflectors. I stepped down to 3 bulbs as I figured 4 was way too much light. Nothing seemed happy unless it was shaded by something. I tried lowering my photoperiod to 8 hours for a month but it didn't seem like enough so I went to 3 bulbs for 8 hours.
Bulbs are
Uri actinic
GE Starcoat
Geismann 11k
