Sps on back glass?

I've run out of space for any new Sps up to with my current aquascape.

I tried putting Sps lower but it started to stn. So I used epoxy and gel glue to attach it to my back glass high enough to get more light. Now I'm wondering if it's crazy to do more? Has anyone done this ? And have a reason why it shouldn't be done?

I have Monti cap on my overflow. There is a big post on R2R about this the other day. There were a bunch of people that did the same. They also sell the magnet rock if you don't want to glue it to the glass.

I have the same mag frag disks they are nice i gotta get more thanks for the e bay link didnt think to try ebay.I have hammers and cloves on the glass the cloves spread in a few days ..When we are covering up the sides and back glass I think its time for bigger tanks lol.

or just glue it, have done it plenty of times, i just glued two small colonies to my center overflow

The glue I use never holds, eventually they fall off.

those are pretty damn cool. might pick up a few of these. but epoxy and glue seems to be working pretty well.

im currently using ecotech glue. I used it to glue a monti to an overlow at work and now the monti is fully encrusted onto the overflow. but i guess if the sps encrusts very slowly thats a chance it will fall. didnt think of the fact that the glue will give way eventually

What glue have you used?

I have spent hundreds probably on loctite gel glue.. (its not a lot 4 grams) so i would buy tons of them,, i recently got IC frag glue.. its great.. All have worked well for me

I remember seeing one picture of someone's red planet growing onto the whole rear pane just in awe of it . Those kinds of pics sps on glass never get old..

does anyone have any experience with these? Someone told me that the magnets rust or arent strong enough? I heard of some other forums creating a group buy and getting good prices.

Ok the piece I glued up fell. I'm going to get the aquamag rock. Has anyone tried then? Does the magnet rust? Does it hold well??

Frags always fall off the glass. It never works. On the overflow is one thing but the glass never holds

yup now i know. im emailing aqua mag for details and have some questions for them. I'm defintely buying atleast 1 rock mag and 2 rock mag jrs provided they answer my questions to my satisfaction.
